I was born and raised in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I found a passion for the piano at a young age, and always knew it was what I wanted to do for a living. 

I started teaching private lessons in 1999 and discovered the joy of watching students grow. 

Teaching soon became another passion of mine.

I was fortunate enough to receive 4 music scholarships, and study full time under Classical professor Fred Squatrito, and Jazz professor Ray Brown.

In 2001 I started playing professionally around the bay area. Over the years I've been lucky enough to share the stage with some world famous musicians such as: Earnie Watts, Lew Soloff, Mundell Lowe, Bill Watrous, Allen Vizzuti, Jiggs Whigham, and Sam Burtis among others.

My hope is that students find their own passion, and discover the wonderful adventure that is music!
